Franklin Together Coalition Involvement Agreement (CIA)

Our Vision is for all formerly incarcerated individuals to successfully return to the community and remain free!

Our Mission is to develop strong collaborative community and professional partnerships that will empower and support formerly incarcerated individuals and their families to reduce recidivism and encourage them to become contributing members of the community. We advocate for change that supports successful reentry for all returning individuals.

Coalition partners are not independent representatives of the coalition unless prior approval is given. This agreement between Franklin Together and the named partner shall be from the date listed above until terminated by either party. Any Coalition Partner who does not fulfill the Coalition Partner responsibilities listed below may have the CIA terminated by Franklin Together. 

 Franklin Together is responsible for: 

1. Creating and following by-laws and policies 

2. Formulating coalition goals and objectives

3. Maintaining appropriate membership partners for the coalition

4. Creating and following a Strategic Plan

5. Creating a credible and relevant sustainability plan

6. Respecting the rights of Franklin Together partners to have opinions and beliefs 

 

 The Coalition Partner will be responsible for: 

1. Being a community leader for the represented sector 

2. Acting as a positive role model for other organizations and members of the community 

3. Supporting the coalition’s vision, mission, values, and initiatives

4. Attending coalition meetings regularly (Missing three (3) coalition meetings in a row without prior notification to the Coalition Coordinator could result in CIA termination.) 

5. Serving on a Task Force, if possible 

6. Attending coalition sponsored events 

7. Participating in sustaining the coalition’s capacity, involvement, and goals 

The Steering Committee reviews and votes on all Coalition Involvement Agreements.
